Who Can Participate?

The competition is open to young Cameroonians aged 15-25 years. Participants must be residents in Cameroon or of Cameroonian descent.

Submission Guidelines

Ready to share your ideas? Please ensure your submission adheres to the following:

Originality: All submissions must be your original, unpublished work.
Language: Essays can be submitted in English or French.
Word Limit: Submissions should be between 1,000 and 1,500 words.
Format: Typed, double-spaced, using Times New Roman font, size 12.
Content: Essays should clearly address the theme, provide well-supported arguments, and propose actionable ideas.
Anonymity: Do not include personal information on the essay document itself. A separate cover page should include your name, age, contact information, and essay title.

Deadline: The deadline for submissions is [July 30, 2025].
Submission Method: Essays must be submitted electronically through the Uthryve Network website [link to submission portal]
